John Moysiuk
Ordained as Deacon
John Moysiuk was ordained as McKRBC's
newest deacon on Sunday evening, March 30.
The ordination included the church's pastor
and current deacons, as well as, area pastors.
Joining John was his wife Peggy, his children
Kat and Rebecca and the rest of his family.
The members in attendance also participated
in laying hands on John and Peggy as they begin
this new ministry. Congratulations John and Peggy!!

2006 News Items:
The wind storm on Thursday, December 14 caused the church to be without power.
There will be no Sunday School. We will be meeting for a short worship service
at 11 a.m. on Sunday, December 17. Be sure to wear warm clothes. Also, the
Adult Choir's Cantata and the Children's Play will be postponed for Sunday, December 31.
Children's Christmas Play: The church is preparing for this year's Children's
Christmas play. Practice is after the morning worship service. Lunch will be provided
for the kids. Kids grade 1st - 10th can participate. Practices end at about 2 p.m.
For more information on registering the children and for helping to make lunches for the
kids, please contact Shirley Scott.
Family Fun Festival: Bring the young and young at heart to our annual fall festival
on October 31, 2006 from 5:30 pm - 8 p.m. There will be food, games, Bingo, prizes, cake walk,
and even more fun, fun, fun!!! Start collecting your White Elephant gifts, individually wrapped
candy, and prizes.
2006 Pictorial Church Directory: We will be creating a brand new pictorial church directory.
Pictures will be taken by Olan Mills on Tuesday, November 7 and Wednesday, November 8. Times are from
3 p.m. - 9:20 p.m. Please contact Carmen Panter to sign-up for a time slot.
LifeLine Screening: McKRBC will be sponsoring medical screenings for the community. Tests
include stroke screening/carotid artery, abdominal aortic aneuryism screening, test for osteoporosis,
and peripheral arterial disease screening. The test screenings will be on Thursday, November 9, 2006.
Pre-registration is required. Call 1-800-324-1851 for an appointment.

2002 News Items:
Calling all Singles!! There will be an overnight outing for all singles at Fort Townsend on Friday,
September 26, 2002. They will spend all day Saturday enjoying themselves and return on Saturday evening.

Sylvia Wilson Offering for State Missions goal has been set at $ 800.00.
September 8 is the official installation of Rev. Dan Panter as the church's pastor and Sunday School
Promotion Day.
Fern Powers recently returned from the Oregon wildfires as part of the Southern Baptist Convetnion's
Disaster Relief Team.
McKRBC unanimously calls Rev. Dan Panter as the church's next pastor. His first sunday with us
will be on September 1, 2002.
There will be a Good-bye Potluck for Bro. Ross on Sunday, August 18. Come and join us after the
morning worship service.
Groups from McKRBC will be going to Embracing Seattle and to World Changers in Bremeton, Washington.
McKRBC sets goal for Annie Armstrong Offering for North American missions at $ 1,275.00
Fran Stoops, Carole Rodgers, and Fern Powers return from the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics
as part of the Southern Baptist Convention's Disaster Relief Team. Their next stop...helping to feed
workers in New York City who are excavating through the debris from September 11.

MCKRBC surpasses goal for Annie Armstron Offering. Goal: $ 950.00. Raised: $ 1,224.16
Three Yellow Hats in our Midst: C. Rodgers, Lucretia Turner, and Fern Powers are
trained volunteers for disaster relief. Gary Floyd is the director of this SBC program.

Ten Women Needed: to go to Jericho on the Oregon Coast. All expense paid trip.
The Catch?: You will be assigned to an Oregon Coast church to witness for the Lord.

Did You Know?: G.A.s and Acteens collected more than $ 20.00 for the Super Bowl Offering
in January and gave it to the Union Gospel Mission for community service. Thanks to all
the girls and their leaders for participating in this missionary project.
April 15: Easter Sunday Sunrise Service, 7:30 a.m. Easter Breakfast, 8:30 a.m. Sunday School, 9:45 a.m.
Easter Cantata Redeemer, an Easter Musical, 11 a.m. Church Training and
Evening Worship Service will meet at regular times.
North American Missions Bible Study: Wednesday, March 28, 2001. Soup kitchen opens at
6 p.m., Bible Study at 6:30 p.m.
Jon Beard, Director of Missions for the Olympic Baptist Association, will serve as
Guest Pastor for the next few weeks.
Let's Roast C.O. Creel: C.O. is retiring after 20 years. Come to the church
for a celebration, Saturday, February 24 @ 1 p.m. You are encouraged to prepare comments
on an 8 x 11 sheet of paper for C.O.'s Memory Book and mail before February 18, in
care of the church.
C.O. Creel will retire as MCKRBC pastor after 20 years. His last
sermon will be on Sunday, February 4.
