We Are Going to Miss You, Fran

Frances Stoops, 79, Lacey, died Saturday, March, 28, 2009, at St. Peters Hospital in Lacey, WA. She was born August 23, 1929, to Hilario Juarez and Felipe (Saldana) Juarez in Lovell, Wyoming. She grew up in Granger, Washington, where she attended school. She was married to James Stoops on February 8, 1953, in Granger, Washington.

Mrs. Stoops was employed for several years by the US Army in a civilian capacity in several US cities, working as a Personnel Clerk / Typist. The couple became Lacey residents in November 1991. They enjoyed traveling throughout the country in their motor home. She was a member of McKenzie Road Baptist Church. She was active with the Red Cross, volunteering her services for Disaster Relief Efforts around the country.

Surviving Mrs. Stoops, are a son Allen, his wife Kathi of Lacey; and a grandson Aaron, also of Lacey; four brothers; Joseph, Hilario Jr, John, Terry ; three sisters, Amy, Ruth, and Toni.

Visitation hours are from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, Lacey.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Stoops will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dan Panter will officiate.
