Camp Kursa 2011: Welcome
|
Theme: Driven by Faith |
Dear Parent,
We hope your child will be with us at this year’s Olympic Baptist Association Kid’s Camp. We will be meeting again at beautiful Camp Kursa, which is located about four miles from Shelton. The camp facilities include a large dining hall, chapel in the woods, campfire pit, outdoor (heated) swim-ming pool, basketball court, hiking areas, recreation fields, and indoor rooms equipped with bunk beds.
This year's theme is Driven By Faith in Jesus. People of all ages need to know that believers in Jesus come to God by faith and are to live by faith and not by sight. As Hebrews 11:6 states, Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Our schedule includes swimming, crafts, recreation, campfires, and games, as well as, fun Bible study, crazy skits, and exciting worship.
Our schedule includes swimming, crafts, recreation, campfires, games and camp store, as well as fun Bible study, crazy skits, and exciting worship. All of our staff and counselors are pre-screened by our churches and through Washington State Patrol, so you can be assured that the safety of the children is of utmost importance to us. We also have a nurse on hand throughout the week to administer medications for any kids who have them and to treat the minor injuries that occasionally occur in a camp setting, and we have a certified lifeguard for the pool times.
We look forward to having your child/children at camp this year! We’re already praying for them to have a GREAT time!
Sincerely,
Dan Panter, Camp Director
